How Are Jobs Assigned?

When dmDickason Personnel Services receives a request for a temporary employee (from a client company), we check our list of available applicants that match the skills and requirements.  If your skills match the client company’s needs, we will call you.  If you accept that assignment, we will provide you with all the necessary information about the job.  When the assignment has ended, you contact the same dmDickason office that initially placed you in the job so that you can be put back on dmDickason’s current availability list.

Must I accept every assignment?

Many people find that the best way to return to the business world is as a temporary or temp-to-hire employee.  We encourage you to visit one of our offices and practice on our typing / data entry and computer tutorials to brush up on your rusty skills.  And, this service is free to all job candidates!  Once you feel ready, we start you out on light assignments until you have built up some experience, skills and confidence. We put you on assignments that fit you!
